How to use multiple email account to send different documents using Email Setup.

Introduction: There must be a requirement from client where they want to send different documents using different email accounts.It is possible using Email setup. Steps to achieve the goal: Go to Set up Email  -> Click on Next Business Central gives you an option to choose the account type. I am going to use Microsoft 365 account Give Account name and assign the email address from which you need to send the documents. Don’t turn the default button as it will set this account as default and all documents will be shared from this new account which you added and then click on finish. Go to the email accounts page you will be able to see two accounts one account which will be the default one and another account which I created then go to Email Scenarios Assign the Email scenarios to stated which accounts to be used for sending specific documents. I just want the Sales Invoice to be sent from the new account which I added. Click on Ok. You can assign any scenario you want as well you can remove scenarios Go to Feature management to allow all the users to use this feature And then go to Sales invoice -> click on Print/Send action -> A screen appears with from details and to details and then click on send email. Email in Unified Interface as a separate app in D365

Introduction: Email in Unified Interface Dynamics 365 is also available as a separate app! Here’s how you can get it. By default, the new email capabilities are already available in the Unified Interface of D365. But you can have it as a separate app if you’d like. Installing the App: Here’s how you get it – 1. Navigate to the Instance Picker on the D365 Admin Centre, then go to Solutions area on the instance picker. 2. Once installed, it will appear as Installed. Provide Users access to the app & access it: The following security role should be provided to the users for them to access it – You can access the application from here. And here it is – Just a better way around than going into UCI and then looking for emails.

New Email capabilities in Unified Interface – D365 v9

Overview: After much wait, the new Email feature in the Unified Interface is finally here. So this blog is about what all the new Email functionality can do in the Unified Interface. This feature is only for the Unified Interface. Now, you can see the Email button appearing on the ribbon. In the To field, you can select the record type in more intuitive way without having to load the Lookup view. Rich Text Editing: Now, the new Unified Interface offers Rich Text Editing capabilities wherein you can add new media to your email body. HTML Preview: Even you get to see the HTML preview of your email Preview of the Email You’d definitely want to see what goes out before sending the email out.
