CloudFronts joins the AX 7 Technical Preview Program
CloudFronts Technologies has been selected by Microsoft to join the AX 7 Technical Preview Program! At the AXUG event in Reno last month, Daniel Brown, GM for Dynamics AX R &D and Sri Srinivasan, GM for Microsoft Business Solutions Platform for Dynamics, confirmed that AX 7 will be available in Q1 2016. As a leader in AX Integrations, Customizations and AX migrations, our AX teams have already started learning this new platform. Our internal ‘AX 7 Excellence Project’ is designed to allow our AX teams quickly learn the Functional and Technical changes in this upcoming release. Our Project tasks are setup in Agile Sprints of 2 weeks to ensure quick learning. AX 7 also adds many new features and deprecates several existing features. Our single goal is to ensure we are ready to advise and migrate our current and new clients to this modern platform and we have all the capabilities in house to help our clients succeed with their AX 7 deployments! Some Key features of AX 7 are listed below – Cloud First – Microsoft confirmed that AX 7 will be initially only available for cloud deployments through Azure & LCS. LCS – AX 7 will be fully deployable through Microsoft Life Cycle Services (LCS) to ensure a smooth deployment process with very little manual setup! Web based client – AX 7 will finally move AX to a fully browser based experience on desktops! No more AX client installs, as AX 7 will only work on browsers. Standard browsers like Chrome, FireFox and IE will be supported. A modern UI – AX 7 will introduce a sophisticated modern web UI keeping in line with other Dynamics solutions like CRM.

CloudFronts Technologies is proud to announce that we have now formed a dedicated Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) Practice to cater to our partners and customers’ growing cloud infrastructure requirements. Over the past 3 years we have seen Azure continue to evolve by adding more data centers around the globe and through deep infrastructure management capabilities. Initially we focused on deploying simple CRM Portals, non-critical VMs and other services that were not always mission critical. With the robust capabilities now offered by Azure we now starting to deploy mission critical applications and infrastructure for our clients around the globe. CloudFronts joins CRM 2015 Fall Release preview program
Over the past few months we have implemented several new initiatives with a single goal of ensuring our Client’s Success with their CRM deployments! One of our initiatives is the CRM Excellence project. This is an ongoing project at CloudFronts where team members are assigned 2 week tasks (Agile Sprints) to learn new features of CRM, document it as a blog article and finish with an internal demo to our CRM, Sales, Marketing & Project teams. The goal of this exercise is to ensure we are constantly learning new features and leveraging it to provide value to our clients. In continuing our CRM Excellence initiative, CloudFronts has also joined the CRM 2015 Fall Release Preview program. This program is run by Microsoft and allows early access to Partners to upcoming features in CRM and provide value input. Our goal from this program is to learn early about new features and prepare for the release. As new CRM features continue to roll out every few months, our enrollment in the Preview program will benefit our customers and allow us to provide additional business value! In addition, CloudFronts has also expressed an interest to be part of ‘alpha’ CRM programs (very early in the new feature development). We are awaiting Microsoft feedback on the same.
